Our Missions

Missions

Brookdale supports a world-wide outreach that also reaches out to Brookdale's local community.

As a world-wide outreach, Brookdale's Missions ministry supports more than 20 different mission works, domestic and foreign:

Foreign countries where Brookdale supports missionary work include Taiwan, Congo, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, and Mexico.

Domestic mission support is given nationally to Campus Crusade, Navigators, and Mission Aviation Fellowship.

Local missions support is also important.  Brookdale supports CEAP (Community Emergency Assistance Program), Bethany Nursing Home, The Dwelling Place (Christian battered women's shelter) and Minnehaha Academy.  Local missions give spiritual and practical help to those in need -- the hungry, the homeless, and those in the inner city.

Brookdale Covenant Church's commitment to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through missions is evidenced by its financial commitment -- approximately 20% of our annual budget is directed toward mission work.

In addition to budgeted support, the church takes part in special mission projects each year.  One such project is "Covenant World Relief" -- a denomination-wide famine-relief effort.

If you are interested in becoming involved in mission outreach, please contact the church office at 763-535-6305 or send a message to brookdale@brookdalecovenant.org.
